LTMC Load Sequence & Dependency Map

The standard SAP S/4HANA migration objects, arranged in the order they can actually be loaded. Computed as a directed acyclic graph, grouped into load waves, and fully interactive — hover or tap any object to trace its prerequisites and what it unlocks.

61 LTMC objects
9 prerequisites
84 dependencies
5 load waves

The LTMC load sequence, mapped

60% of teams name master-data governance as their #1 migration pain — and most of that pain is load order: what must exist before what. Below is the full dependency graph for the standard S/4HANA 2402 LTMC objects, computed as a directed acyclic graph and laid out by load wave. Columns load left-to-right. Hover (desktop) or tap (mobile) any object to trace what it needs and what it unlocks. Dashed faint edges are lower-confidence links to verify in the Migration Cockpit.

61 LTMC objects + 9 configuration / master prerequisites (striped) that must pre-exist · 84 dependency edges · cycle-free · 5 load waves. Authoritative per-object prerequisites live in each object’s SAP Note and the Migration Cockpit “Dependencies” tab.

Frequently asked questions

How to read the map, where the order comes from, and how far to trust it.

+ What does this dependency map show?
Every standard S/4HANA 2402 LTMC migration object in scope, arranged by the order it can be loaded. Columns are load waves: every object in a wave can load once the previous wave is complete. Hover (desktop) or tap (mobile) an object to highlight what must exist before it (its prerequisites) and what it unlocks downstream.
+ What are the striped “PREREQ” boxes?
Configuration or master-data objects that are not migrated through these LTMC templates but must already exist in the target system before dependent objects load — e.g. G/L accounts, profit centers, plant, warehouse structure. They’re shown so the chart has honest starting points. If they’re missing, loads in later waves fail.
+ How is the load order calculated?
The objects and their dependencies form a directed acyclic graph — no circular dependencies. A topological sort groups them into waves. Objects in the same wave have no dependency on each other and can be loaded in parallel.
+ What do the edge styles and confidence levels mean?
Solid bold lines are high-confidence dependencies; lighter and dashed lines are moderate/low-confidence links to verify before cutover. The authoritative prerequisite list for any object lives in its SAP Note and the Migration Cockpit “Dependencies” tab — this map is a planning scaffold, not a replacement for that.
+ Can I use this for my own migration project?
Yes — as a starting template. Your scope, S/4HANA release, and whether the project is greenfield or brownfield change which objects apply and the exact prerequisites. Confirm each object against the Migration Cockpit before loading.
